This
is the era of on-the-go healthcare where diagnosis is tele-communicated and
medicines are ordered via the web. Though there is nothing wrong in getting
digital and obsessed with your health, there is a downside to the ease with
which medical procedures are available, including those that pose significant risk,
including long-term and irreversible damage to the body. One such treatment
that has caught the attention of leading medical fraternity regulatory
organizations is Breast
Implants. According to one of the most credible healthcare watchdogs in the
world today, the FDA, Breast Implants are putting women in severe danger of
developing critical conditions like carcinomas and other types of malignant
cancers.
A unique
type of cancer associated with Breast Implants has been identified and acknowledged
across the world—called ALCL or Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma—this cancer
stems from the unwanted cellular-level changes induced by irrationally
conducted cosmetic breast enhancement surgeries that invariably includes using
implants of some type. The side effect of breast implants are no longer
considered minor. Women undergoing this type of surgical breast enhancement
need to understand that they are putting their health at extreme risk –
something that is perhaps not discussed or disclosed at the time of initial
consultations sought with the surgeon who eventually conducts the Breast Implant
surgery.
Complications
associated with Breast Implants are permanent and include disfiguring the body
and inducing long-term damages, such as cellular toxicity. Some of the most
common Breast Implant complications have been listed for your consideration:
[This refers to saline and silicone breast
implants]
- Misshaped Breasts: the loss of shape becomes visible within a few weeks
- Swelling, allergic reactions, discoloration of the skin
- Lupus
- Hardening of arteries
- Breakage/Leakage in breast implants causing necrosis: skin cells start dying
- Metal poisoning: associated with Breast Implants where platinum exposure is involved, i.e. usually silicone breast implants
- Autoimmune disorders like fibromyalgia
- Formation of multiple cysts or lumps
- Scar tissue formation: resistant to topical treatment, needs surgical intervention
- Infection: due to faulty implants or negligence during surgery
- Permanent Post-surgical Risks: including permanent damage to the mammary gland
- Chronic breast pain, numbness: a common breast implant symptom
- Difficulty in breastfeeding: reported by young, nursing women
Please note that most Breast
Implants will eventually outlive their shelf-life — these are not a permanent
solution. The results are purely aesthetic. Even if done for patients having
lost their breasts due to pre-existing cancers, these implants have a short
life. For instance, the best of silicone implants too are known not to survive
beyond 10 years but the promised period might extend up to 15 years. Even if the
implants don't need additional surgery or replacement for a long time, the
risks are too heavy to outweigh the risks involved. The risk of Breast Implant rupture just cannot be ignored. From
increasing the financial burden to health insurance related complications and
the underlying chances of needing multiple surgeries, Breast
Implants come across as a poorly chosen option, ridden with lethal complications.
There have been thousands of cases where surgery was required to remove the
implants, i.e. a MASTECTOMY, and resulted in total removal of breast tissue and
the muscles below the breasts!
Considering
the serious and undeniable risks associated with getting breast implants, you
might want to consider a safe, even if less effective, option like Herbal, Natural Breast Enhancement and Breast
Firming Therapy.
